Our Curriculum: Geography

At Brampton Cortonwood Infant School, our geography curriculum encourages children to explore, question and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.

 

Through engaging topics, fieldwork, map skills and real-life experiences, pupils learn about places, people, environments and cultures, beginning with their local area and gradually expanding their view of the wider world.

We inspire children to think like geographers by developing their enquiry skills, geographical vocabulary and understanding of human and physical geography.
