Our English curriculum inspires a lifelong love of reading, writing and communication through high-quality texts, rich vocabulary and engaging learning experiences.

 

Using carefully chosen books, cross-curricular themes and real-life stimuli, we help children develop as confident readers, writers, speakers and listeners.

Daily opportunities to explore vocabulary, grammar, phonics and writing genres enable pupils to build essential skills and apply them across the curriculum.

 

Through a supportive and inclusive approach, including the use of Little Wandle phonics and targeted support where needed, we ensure every child can achieve success and develop the confidence to express themselves effectively.
