Our Curriculum: Music

Our music curriculum inspires children to develop a lifelong love of music through singing, performing, composing and listening.

 

Using the Charanga music scheme, pupils explore a wide range of musical styles, genres and traditions while developing their creativity, confidence and performance skills.

 

Through engaging practical experiences, children learn to use their voices, play instruments, compose their own music and reflect on their musical learning.

 

Our inclusive and enriching approach encourages self-expression, collaboration and appreciation of music from different cultures, helping every child develop as a confident and enthusiastic musician.
